Mustangs F.C. Academy (U6-U10)
Mustangs F.C. Soccer academy has been formed to assist the total growth process of youth through organized soccer. Our immediate goal is to develop soccer skills and encourage good sportsmanship. Our longer term goal is to maintain a high standard of play in the top leagues in North Texas and develop players for college or professional careers. We play in appropriate leagues designed to accelerate the development of players before they reach the competitive select soccer age of U11.
As a member of a Mustangs F.C. academy, your child will be exposed to the following:
- Development of personal responsibility through commitments to themselves, teammates, coaches and you, the parents.
- Develop an understanding of goal setting and the basic steps required to reach a desired goal.
- Develop the ability to deal with disappointments and setbacks in a constructive and productive manner.
- Receive the best coaching we can make available in order to accomplish the above and help them attain their highest level of proficiency in the sport.
- Develop an ability to win and lose gracefully with a sense of class and to be able to put both in perspective.
- Enhance skills such as controlling, passing, heading, dribbling and defending.
